The mahogany frame is adorned with exceptionally detailed gilt-bronze mounts, including floral swags, rosettes, and classical trophies, reflecting the refined neoclassical taste of the period. The frieze is decorated with a central drawer featuring a chased gilt-bronze panel depicting playful putti in relief, framed by draped garlands. The four square, tapering legs are mounted with gilt-bronze appliqués of laurel sprays, quivers, and torches, terminating in foliate sabots.
